Overview

Susquehanna University, established in 1858 and nestled in the borough of Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, is a private liberal arts college. Approximately 50 miles north of the state capital, Harrisburg, the university boasts a picturesque 325-acre campus bordering the Susquehanna River, characterized by Georgian architecture. Susquehanna University offers a comprehensive range of majors, with a focus on the liberal arts and sciences, and is particularly noted for its writing program and business school. Housing is provided on campus, with a variety of living options including traditional residence halls, suites, and townhouses designed to accommodate its undergraduate population. Offering a breadth of extracurricular activities, the university has a moderately selective admissions process. In the most recent statistical year 6,375 prospective students applied, and 4,889 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 578 enrolled in the school.  2,133 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 98 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $54,440 plus fees of $720.
