Rosemont College

Overview

Rosemont College, a private, coeducational liberal arts institution, is located in Rosemont, Pennsylvania, within close proximity to the urban offerings of Philadelphia. Founded in 1921 by the Society of the Holy Child Jesus, Rosemont maintains a Catholic heritage and an intimate campus environment. With a focus on liberal arts education, Rosemont offers undergraduate and graduate programs, including popular majors such as Business, Biology, and Psychology. Admissions at Rosemont are considered less selective. The campus, characterized by Gothic architecture, provides residential facilities to accommodate a significant portion of its student body. The college emphasizes personalized education, small class sizes, and faculty mentorship. Rosemont is not specifically known for its athletic programs but contributes to intercollegiate competition as part of the NCAA Division III.

In the most recent statistical year 950 prospective students applied, and 718 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 80 enrolled in the school.  452 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 302 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $19,890 plus fees of $1,285.
