Indiana University of Pennsylvania-Main Campus, located in Indiana, Pennsylvania, offers a blend of suburban tranquility and accessibility to urban amenities, situated approximately 55 miles northeast of Pittsburgh. Established in 1875, the public university spans 374 acres and boasts a traditional collegiate environment characterized by a mix of historic and modern architecture. Academically, IUP is divided into numerous colleges, including the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology and the College of Health and Human Services, known for programs in business, education, health professions, and more. The university supports a moderately selective admissions process, aiming to attract a diverse and capable student body.
