Marylhurst University, formerly located in Marylhurst, Oregon, was a private liberal arts institution founded by the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary in 1893. Situated approximately 10 miles south of Portland, the campus was recognized for its picturesque scenery and historic architecture, including the iconic Belluschi-designed Marian Hall. Before its closure in 2018, Marylhurst University specialized in offering a comprehensive range of undergraduate and graduate degrees with a strong emphasis on liberal arts, business, and leadership programs, accommodating both traditional students and working professionals.
