Lane Community College

Overview

Lane Community College (LCC), established in 1964, is a public two-year institution located in Eugene, Oregon, approximately 110 miles south of Portland. Nestled within a lush, Pacific Northwest setting, the college serves a diverse student body and offers a range of academic programs, with a notable focus on health sciences, aviation, and culinary arts and hospitality. LCC's main campus boasts contemporary facilities that blend with the natural landscape, providing students a conducive environment for learning and exploration. Although primarily a commuter college, LCC has limited on-campus housing options available. The college has an open admissions policy, which allows for a broad spectrum of students to access postsecondary education. While not distinguished for athletics, Lane Community College places emphasis on comprehensive educational pathways, including transfer agreements with four-year universities and workforce development programs.

Lane Community College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  2,717 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 4,028 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $4,770 plus fees of $950.
