Corban University

Overview

Corban University, located in Salem, Oregon, is a private Christian college that provides a liberal arts education with a biblical perspective. Founded in 1935, the institution is nestled in a scenic, wooded area in the Pacific Northwest, approximately an hour's drive from Portland. The university offers a range of undergraduate programs, with a particular emphasis on education, business, and ministry studies. Corban is moderately selective in its admissions process, balancing academic criteria with applicants' personal faith and character. The campus architecture favors contemporary styles with facilities that cater to academic, social, and spiritual student needs. Corban has a robust on-campus living program, with a number of residence halls and apartment options for students. Although Corban University does not boast a wide reputation for its athletic programs, it fields several varsity sports teams known as the Warriors.

In the most recent statistical year 1,665 prospective students applied, and 579 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 152 enrolled in the school.  726 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 237 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $34,699 plus fees of $1,068.
