The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (USAO), nestled in Chickasha, Oklahoma, just about an hour's drive southwest of Oklahoma City, is a public liberal arts university that distinguishes itself through a unique interdisciplinary curriculum. Founded in 1908, USAO is recognized as the state?s only public liberal arts college, offering students a wide spectrum of study within a close-knit campus environment. In the most recent statistical year 1,071 prospective students applied, and 603 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 217 enrolled in the school.  756 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 69 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $6,630 plus fees of $2,370.
