Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU), located in Weatherford, approximately 70 miles west of Oklahoma City, is a public institution established in 1901. SWOSU's campus promotes a rural atmosphere and encompasses distinctive architectural styles, with a selection of traditional and modern buildings. Offering both undergraduate and graduate programs, the university holds a diverse academic portfolio with notable emphasis on health sciences and engineering.
