Piedmont International University

Overview

Piedmont International University, located in Winston Salem, North Carolina, is a private institution established in 1945 with a focus on Christian education. The university?s urban campus stands in proximity to the Blue Ridge Mountains and less than two hours from the major metropolitan area of Charlotte. A notable aspect of the campus is its blend of traditional and modern architecture, which accommodates a variety of student housing options. Academically, Piedmont International University is recognized for its Theological Seminary and School of Education among other undergraduate and graduate programs. The university offers a non-restrictive application process, inviting a broad range of students to apply. While not widely known for athletic programs, the campus maintains a selection of sports teams known as the Bruins.

Piedmont International University has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  324 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 367 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $8,850 plus fees of $730.
