North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, commonly referred to as North Carolina A&T, is a historically black public land-grant research university located in Greensboro, North Carolina. Established in 1891, the university is part of the University of North Carolina system and sits on a 200-acre main campus characterized by a blend of historic and modern architectural styles. With a focused commitment to STEM education, North Carolina A&T is renowned for its programs in engineering, agriculture, and environmental sciences. The university offers a range of bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees across various fields and maintains a moderately selective admissions process.
