Overview

Skidmore College is a private liberal arts institution located in Saratoga Springs, New York, approximately 30 miles north of Albany. Founded in 1903, the college sits on a suburban 890-acre campus characterized by a blend of traditional and modern architecture, including the Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery. Skidmore offers a diverse range of undergraduate programs with particular strengths in the visual and performing arts, business, and social sciences. The school maintains a holistic and competitive admissions process. On-campus housing is provided, with a variety of living options accommodating the majority of the student body. Skidmore's academic ethos is reflected in its commitment to interdisciplinary learning and undergraduate research opportunities. In the most recent statistical year 13,183 prospective students applied, and 3,367 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 784 enrolled in the school.  2,725 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 33 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $61,132 plus fees of $1,266.
