Overview

Niagara University, situated near the city of Buffalo in Niagara University, New York, is a private, Catholic institution that was founded by the Vincentian community in 1856. The university's scenic campus overlooks the Niagara River Gorge, just four miles north of the famed Niagara Falls, providing a striking natural setting for the academic environment. The architectural harmony of historic and modern structures embodies the university's blend of traditional and innovative educational experiences. Niagara University offers a diverse array of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs, with notable emphasis on programs in education, business administration, and hospitality and tourism management. In the most recent statistical year 3,836 prospective students applied, and 3,435 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 545 enrolled in the school.  3,411 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 447 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $35,400 plus fees of $1,780.
