Nazareth College

Overview

Nazareth College, founded in 1924, is a private, coeducational institution situated just outside of Rochester, New York, offering a traditional liberal arts and professional education to its students. The college is distinguished by its scenic 150-acre suburban campus, featuring a mix of historical and modern architecture, with a notable emphasis on facilities that support its strong music and art programs. Nazareth offers a range of undergraduate, graduate, and professional degrees, with popular majors including Health Professions, Education, and Business Management. Housing options are comprehensive, with a variety of residence halls available to suit different student preferences. While Nazareth's admission process is somewhat selective, focusing on a holistic review of applicants, it maintains an inclusive approach. In the most recent statistical year 3,911 prospective students applied, and 3,283 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 470 enrolled in the school.  2,273 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 249 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $37,330 plus fees of $1,980.
