Daemen College

Overview

Daemen College is a private institution located in Amherst, New York, a suburban setting in close proximity to the urban influences of Buffalo. Established in 1947, the college originally named Rosary Hill College, serves as a nonsectarian educational environment. The campus is characterized by its contemporary architecture and offers on-campus living in residence halls. Daemen has established a reputation for its strong health science programs, which include physical therapy and nursing, and is also known for its practitioner-oriented programs like business administration and education. The college operates under a moderately selective admissions process and prides itself on a student-focused academic atmosphere that emphasizes experiential learning opportunities. While Daemen College does offer an athletic program, it is not primarily known for its accomplishments in intercollegiate athletics.

In the most recent statistical year 2,752 prospective students applied, and 2,200 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 358 enrolled in the school.  2,176 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 466 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $32,090 plus fees of $670.
