Centenary University

Overview

Centenary University, nestled in the suburban town of Hackettstown, New Jersey, offers a picturesque northeast American campus approximately 50 miles west of New York City. It is a private institution that traces its origins back to 1867. Ranked as having a moderately selective admissions process, Centenary University provides a variety of undergraduate programs with notable emphasis on business, health sciences, and natural sciences. The campus features a mix of historic and contemporary architecture with residential facilities for students opting to live on campus. While the college sustains a broad array of academic offerings, it is particularly recognized for its Equine Studies programs and its contributions to equestrian sports.

In the most recent statistical year 1,330 prospective students applied, and 1,284 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 194 enrolled in the school.  991 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 507 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $34,890 plus fees of $1,044.
