Overview

The College of Southern Nevada (CSN), situated within Las Vegas, Nevada, is a diverse public institution offering a comprehensive range of academic programs, including popular majors in Nursing, Business Administration, and Criminal Justice. Founded in 1971, this urban-based college operates across multiple campuses, encompassing the bustling metropolitan setting of the Las Vegas area. With a low to moderate selectivity in admissions, CSN presents an accessible educational path for many students. While primarily a commuter school, CSN does offer limited on-campus housing options at its North Las Vegas campus, an exception to the general lack of residential facilities. College of Southern Nevada has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  9,013 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 19,888 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $3,383 plus fees of $585.
