Overview

Midland University, located in Fremont, Nebraska, is a private liberal arts college established in 1883. Set in a small city, it is approximately 25 miles northwest of Omaha, offering students access to a larger metropolitan area while maintaining a close-knit campus setting. The university is characterized by a picturesque campus with a mix of modern and historic architecture. Midland offers a variety of undergraduate programs, with Business, Nursing, Education, and Human Performance being among the most popular. Its academic environment is noted for a personalized approach, with a broadly non-selective admissions process. The university provides on-campus housing options to foster an immersive educational experience. In the most recent statistical year 1,493 prospective students applied, and 969 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 324 enrolled in the school.  1,231 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 384 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $37,500 plus fees of $800.
