Carroll College

Overview

Carroll College is a private Catholic liberal arts college located in Helena, Montana, approximately 85 miles from the state capital, offering a picturesque campus setting with views of the surrounding mountains. Founded in 1909 by John Patrick Carroll, the college has a heritage that emphasizes academic rigor and character formation. Its academic profile includes a range of undergraduate programs, with strong emphases in health sciences, business, engineering, and education, which attract a significant portion of the student body. Carroll College maintains a holistic admissions process and is considered moderately selective. In the most recent statistical year 1,519 prospective students applied, and 1,186 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 296 enrolled in the school.  1,139 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 29 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $37,828 plus fees of $1,200.
