Mississippi State University, located in Starkville, Mississippi, is a public land-grant institution established in 1878. Residing approximately 125 miles northeast of Jackson, the university?s rural campus spans over 4,200 acres, featuring a blend of contemporary and historic architecture. The university provides a range of on-campus housing options to accommodate its student body.
