Overview

Jackson College, formerly known as Jackson Community College, is a public institution located in Jackson, Michigan, approximately 40 miles west of Ann Arbor. Established in 1928, the college offers a wide spectrum of two-year programs, including popular majors such as nursing, business administration, and criminal justice. Jackson College serves students on a pluralistic campus that sprawls across a 500-acre main campus with features that are emblematic of Modernist architecture. The campus atmosphere is positioned to cater to a diverse body of commuter students, with a select number of residential options available for those seeking on-campus living experiences. Jackson Community College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  925 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 3,319 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $5,970 plus fees of $1,455.
