Lasell College

Overview

Lasell College, located in Newton, Massachusetts, is a private institution established in 1851. Situated approximately eight miles from Boston, Lasell offers a suburban campus environment with a broad collection of Victorian-era buildings as a cornerstone of its architectural identity. The college provides an array of undergraduate and graduate programs, with a distinctive focus on connected learning that integrates classroom theory with practical, real-world experience. Lasell has a moderately selective admissions process and is recognized for academic programs in fields such as Fashion, Communication, and Education. On-campus living is a significant aspect of the student experience at Lasell, with a variety of housing options available to students. While Lasell College may not be specifically known for its athletics, it fields a number of collegiate sports teams, known as the Lasell Lasers, which compete in the NCAA Division III.

In the most recent statistical year 2,833 prospective students applied, and 2,074 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 314 enrolled in the school.  1,220 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 371 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $40,980 plus fees of $1,650.
