Becker College

Overview

Becker College, situated in Worcester, Massachusetts, was a private institution with a history dating back to 1784 through its predecessor institutions, before its closure in 2021. Comprising two distinct campuses, one in Worcester and another in Leicester, it lay approximately 40 miles west of Boston, offering a suburban setting with a blend of historical and contemporary architecture. Becker was known to provide a range of undergraduate programs, with a particular emphasis on fields like animal studies, video game design, and nursing. The school maintained a moderately selective admissions process. Though Becker did offer on-campus living options, it was also characterized by a variety of student-led organizations and extracurricular opportunities. It is important to note that Becker College is no longer in operation and thus no longer enrolls students or participates in collegiate athletics.
