Overview

Midway University, located in Midway, Kentucky, offers a predominantly undergraduate-focused educational experience with a rich history dating back to its founding in 1847 as the Kentucky Female Orphan School. Positioned on a scenic 200-acre campus in the Bluegrass Region, the university is approximately 15 miles from Lexington, the state's second-largest city, known for its vibrant equestrian culture and historical landmarks. In the most recent statistical year 1,057 prospective students applied, and 991 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 239 enrolled in the school.  1,123 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 318 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $24,500 plus fees of $550.
