Asbury University

Overview

Asbury University is a private, Christian liberal arts institution located in Wilmore, Kentucky, approximately 20 minutes southwest of Lexington. Founded in 1890, the university keeps its Wesleyan-Holiness tradition and offers a variety of undergraduate, graduate, and online programs, with popular majors that include Media Communications, Elementary Education, and Business Management. The university's application process is moderately selective. Asbury's campus is noted for its historic and picturesque Collegiate Gothic architecture. Residential life is an integral part of the Asbury experience, with a variety of housing options available for students. While the university does not have a reputation highlighted by athletics, students can participate in a range of sports at the intramural level.

In the most recent statistical year 1,105 prospective students applied, and 870 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 295 enrolled in the school.  1,093 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 557 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $32,578 plus fees of $568.
