Fort Valley State University (FVSU), founded in 1895, is a historically black university located in Fort Valley, Georgia, within easy reach of Macon and approximately 100 miles south of Atlanta. Its semi-rural campus spans 1,365 acres and features a blend of modern and historic buildings that reflect a storied past and a commitment to technological advancement.
