Overview

Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC), located in Tifton, Georgia, is a public institution that was founded in 1908. Situated approximately 180 miles south of Atlanta, ABAC provides a rural campus setting spread across 516 acres. Historically rooted in agricultural and environmental sciences, the college offers a range of associate and bachelor's degree programs, with particular emphasis on areas such as agriculture, natural resources, and biology. The college has a relatively high acceptance rate and provides on-campus housing options to accommodate its students. While ABAC is not predominantly known for its athletic programs, it competes in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). Noted for embracing the neoclassical architectural style, the campus buildings create a historical ambiance that reflects its longstanding educational traditions.

In the most recent statistical year 2,349 prospective students applied, and 1,573 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 838 enrolled in the school.  2,377 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 1,270 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $2,563 plus fees of $602.
