Overview

New College of Florida, located in Sarasota, offers a distinctive liberal arts education on a 110-acre campus adjacent to the Sarasota Bay. Established as a private institution in 1960 and later designated as a public honors college in 2001, New College of Florida provides an academic environment with a focus on student-centered learning and advanced research opportunities. In the most recent statistical year 1,830 prospective students applied, and 1,380 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 188 enrolled in the school.  681 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 8 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $5,227 plus fees of $1,689.
