West Los Angeles College (WLAC) is a two-year public community college located in the hillside suburban setting of Culver City, California, adjacent to the major urban center of Los Angeles. Established in 1969, the college is part of the California Community Colleges System and serves approximately 12,000 students annually. The campus is noted for its modern architecture and panoramic views of the city. WLAC offers a wide range of academic programs with an emphasis on transfer education, career technical education, and is notably recognized for its Dental Hygiene program and Business degrees. While the institution maintains an open admissions policy, the selection process for certain programs may be more competitive. Despite being a commuter college, it provides resources for student success and engagement through various services and academic support. WLAC does not have residential housing facilities nor is it particularly known for its athletic programs, focusing instead on academic pursuits and workforce development.

West Los Angeles College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  1,496 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 7,160 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $1,196 plus fees of $42.
