Overview

The University of La Verne is a private institution established in 1891, situated in the city of La Verne, California, approximately 35 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. Reflective of its historical roots in the Church of the Brethren, the university occupies a suburban campus noted for its blend of modern and historic Spanish Revival architecture. The institution offers a wide range of undergraduate programs, with Business Administration, Organizational Management, and Psychology being among the most popular majors. The academic climate is characterized by small class sizes and a student-to-faculty ratio that facilitates personalized learning experiences.
