Founded in 1917, the San Francisco Conservatory of Music is a premier private music school located in San Francisco, California, known for its rigorous and comprehensive study programs in music. In the most recent statistical year 392 prospective students applied, and 163 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 45 enrolled in the school.  434 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 3 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $51,300 plus fees of $1,500.
