Norco College

Overview

Norco College, part of the Riverside Community College District, is a public community college located in the suburban setting of Norco, California, often referred to as "Horse Town USA" due to its rural ambiance and numerous equestrian trails. Established in 1991, the college provides a comprehensive educational experience with associate degree programs, certificates, and transfer opportunities to four-year institutions. The institution is situated approximately 50 miles southeast of Los Angeles, granting students proximity to urban resources while maintaining a small-town college atmosphere. Offering a broad array of academic programs, Norco College is particularly known for its strong emphasis on technology, business, health, and the arts. The campus does not provide on-campus student housing facilities. In terms of application selectivity, Norco College maintains an open admission policy, primarily serving students who seek vocational training, professional development, or transfer to four-year universities.

Norco College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  1,601 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 7,866 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $1,380 plus fees of $40.
